In the heart of a skiing area divided into 4 sectors, Auron welcomes winter sports lovers of every level and every discipline: 135 km of pistes divided into 3 green pistes, 17 blue pistes, 15 red pistes and 8 black pistes, snow gardens, family park, boardercross, etc. There’s something for everyone to enjoy in this Alpes-Maritimes resort! The skiing area is directly linked to the village of Saint Étienne de Tinée via the Pinatelle gondola lift.

Anyone aged 6 and over can come and discover the work of the night time snow groomers. You will reach Blainon summit in a snow groomer, where you can admire the stars glistening above the summits of the Mercantour. See more.

Children’s treasure hunt
Supervised by a State-registered mountain guide, put on your investigator’s hat and learn to read and recognize the natural environment of the Auron with a map. The aim? Have fun as a family while learning through the clues in this treasure hunt! Activity from 7 years old.

Tube tobogganing

New at Auron!

Aquatic centre
Just opened in July 2021, Auron now boasts a completely new aquatic centre comprising a children’s pool and a balneotherapy area. A fun water and spa area to satisfy young and old alike!

The new hotel apartment block: The Monde des Neiges
Located on the Riou pistes; the Monde des Neiges opens its doors this December. A 5-star resort that offers a 180° view over the skiing area and the summits of the Mercantour. With the assistance of Bruno Oger, a chef awarded 2 stars in the 2020 Michelin Guide, and CellCosmet, a Swiss cosmeceutical brand, the complex guarantees luxury at every level.

New Colombier piste for athletes
Auron resort has created a ski piste dedicated to athletes training for competition: a varied offer with the Colombier illuminated piste and the Slalom stage ski tow.

New day-care centre
The new “Les Marmottes” day-care centre is pleased to welcome your children aged between 6 months and 6 years in infrastructures that are more spacious and more functional! Awarded the “family+” and “Quality tourism” labels, the daycare centre guarantees a quality reception for your little ones!

Anelle Plateau

Difficulty level: Easy. Duration: 3½ hours.
Distance: 6 km. Elevation: 330 m
Starting point: Village car park in Saint-Dalmas-le-Selvage.
Starting in the village of Saint-Dalmas-le-Selvage, an enjoyable walk for snowshoeing beginners. Make the most of this magical moment at the foot of the snow-covered Anelle Pass. The local houses blending into the landscape will punctuate your route.

Gianto Circuit

Difficulty level: Easy. Duration: 3 hours.
Distance: 6 km. Elevation: 420 m
Starting point: Village car park in Saint-Dalmas-le-Selvage.
A walk to discover the Sestriège woods in Saint-Dalmas-le-Selvage. Follow the tracks of the alpine fauna along the forest trails. This route will lead you to the charming Gianto shelter.

Puy d’Auron

Difficulty level: Easy. Duration: 3 hours.
Distance: 5 km. Elevation: 310 m
Starting point: Village car park in Saint-Dalmas-le-Selvage.
Climb to the summit of the Puy D’Auron mountain, 1929 m above sea level in the heart of the Mercantour national park. This is a beautiful walk to explore the south-facing slope of the Puy d’Auron. Through the woods, admire an incredible panoramic view of the Auron skiing area.
