Meet the wolves in Parc Alpha

How about spending the day meeting the Mercantour wolves? Located between 1,500 and 1,800 m above sea level, whatever the season Parc Alpha invites you to immerse yourself in the life of its three packs of wolves!

Parc Alpha: meet the 3 packs of wolves!

This is a great opportunity to discover the wolves’ environment with trips that allow you to watch the packs in their natural environment. In the central zone of the Mercantour park, the wolves live in semi-liberty alongside some new inhabitants, chamois and mountain hares, which are difficult to spot in the wild.
In the summer, a unique falconry demonstration takes you back to the medieval era, while the youngest will love the small educational farm.

Pas du Loup: entrance to the park. In winter, ice sculptures punctuate the ride.
Le temps des hommes: the three shows are presented in two magnificent old stone and wood cow sheds. The shows subtly combine theatre and audio visual techniques.
Le temps du Loup: from wooden hides, you can watch the 3 packs living in semi-freedom (23 wolves in total), in areas enclosed by natural vegetation.
