Jean-Marie Lerdino, a teacher who became deaf at the age of 30 and was therefore deprived of contact with people, turned to objects that don't speak but have a lot to say. In this way, he has turned his handicap into a springboard for activity. Well done, and given the theme... WELL PLAYED!
As a manufactured object, toys have benefited from industrial improvements (steam, electricity, etc.) and, as they prepare children for adult life, they cover all areas of activity: from the farm to space, via LEGO and MECCANO. It's an extraordinary mirror of our way of life, and a little more than the usual "toy" image.

The museum provides visitors with a game booklet, as well as touch-screen tablets for additional information on some of the products featured in the showcases.
