Dovecotes and St Honoré Tower

Historic site and monument, Historic patrimony, Dovecote in La Londe-les-Maures

  • Dovecotes and Tower, agricultural outbuildings of the Domaine St Honoré

  • The concentration of these stone buildings, only a hundred metres away, testifies to the importance of agricultural activity on this estate since the 19th century.
Built to serve as a water tower, the circular tower was used at the beginning of the 20th century as a stable and cellar.
The two dovecotes, also of circular construction, are equipped with a flight opening, one framed by glazed mallons, the other framed by bricks.
