    Thierry Pelletier: sculptor
After having worked in jewelery and goldsmithery for a dozen years, Thierry Pelletier naturally approaches sculpture in the 90s.
1994 and 1995 saw his first exhibitions in the bastide Antibes of the Prince de Polignac, in the company of great contemporaries such as Arman, Cesar, Folon and Saint Phalle.
He participates in various Parisian exhibitions such as the Salon d'Automne and the collector's salon. He works with several galleries in Paris and the Riviera, among which Gismondi, Helenbeck, Embassies, Art Symbol, Yves Dufresnes, Gabel, Gollong, which offered him his first personal exhibition in 2002. The Agora Gallery in New York is its American representative.
His favorite material is the sheet bronze which he hammers and then assembles with an electric arc under argon. Direct carving on marble is also an important part of his work.

    Thierry Pelletier: painter
After working with oil on small formats, Thierry Pelletier tackles his large canvases in acrylic in 2000. His paintings prove to be keys to understanding his sculpture in a playful way: by the way they are built, they highlight a more anatomical and lively reading of its volumes often monochrome and refined. His paintings are structured by masses of color (which give them a movement) around a most classic sketch that disappears behind this animation. In 2008 he exhibits gallery arcades in Biot, in 2009 at Chantal Helenbeck, and he settles in 2011 for two months in the Galerie Eggée in Vallauris.

    Thierry Pelletier: the jewel
By participating in group exhibitions, Thierry Pelletier has kept a strong link with the world of contemporary jewelery. He considers jewel as a medium among others for his artistic expression and goes beyond de facto the famous duality Art Deco - Major Art; he travels freely in all three dimensions with an infinite variety of materials.
