Over the course of a rich career, PAUL MEYER has established himself as one of the best clarinettists in the world. He is also a conductor. Since his dazzling success in 1982 at the age of 17 at the prestigious Eurovision and Young Artists competition in New York, Paul Meyer has never ceased to surprise. Considered from a young age as an exceptional instrumentalist, his brilliant career is marked by performances in the greatest international halls alongside the best musicians in the world such as Benny Goodman, Isaac Stern, Rostropovitch, Jean-Pierre Rampal, Martha Argerich, Yuri Bashmet, Gidon Kremer, Yehudi Menuhin, Yo-Yo Ma and Emmanuel Ax.
His pure, velvety sound and flawless technique are now combined with the organisational talent of Thierry MECHTER.

Thierry Mechler is one of the most prominent personalities in the French and international organ world. His numerous prizes, his international career as a soloist, which has taken him to every continent, and the prestigious positions he holds make him a multi-talented personality. From 1991 to 1999 he was organist of the great organ of the Cathedral-Primatiale St-Jean in Lyon and organist and artistic advisor of the Maurice Ravel Auditorium in Lyon. He is also organist of the great organ of the Basilica of Notre-Dame in Thierenbach. Since 1998 Thierry Mechler has been professor of organ and improvisation at the Musikhochschule Köln and curator of the organs at the prestigious Cologne Philharmonic. In this programme, both of them place the expressive capacities of the clarinet at the centre of the organistic universe of Johann Sebastian Bach and his son Carl-Philip Emmanuel Bach in an original programme.
