  • Following the former exhibition, the permanent space is dedicated to show Vence’s personal Henri Matisse collection mainly composed of graphic works such as charcoals, lithographs, and etchings.

  • You will particularly discover boards from the publication Jazz, works of the Martinican Woman (“La Martiniquaise”), etchings for the cover page of “Les Fleurs du Mal” by Charles Baudelaire, as well as drawings of the Rosary Chapel : Rosettes, Saint Dominic, priest’s chasuble. Photographs taken by internationally renowned artists such as Henri Cartier-Bresson or Robert Capa showing the painter’s lifestyle during his stay in Vence.
