SN/AZ is a research project carried out since 2016, along the border between the states of Sonora in Mexico and Arizona in the United States. The vast desert areas on both sides of this border are crossed by the main migration routes to the major cities of the southwestern United States.

Since the mid-1990s and the NAFTA agreements, three to four hundred bodies have been found each year in the four Arizona border counties. The exact number of those who disappear is unknown.

The first two chapters that make up SN/AZ: Trails of Sasabe, named after a crossing point, and The Ghost Whisperers, question the regime of the visible.

The Crossers, a chapter in production since 2018, documents the work of associations that help migrants and that have become the target of local anti-migration policies.

This exhibition has received the support of the Carte Blanche Visual Arts scheme, supported by the Region SUD - Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur.
