After the war, it was bought by Philippe Tallien, a former dancer in the Monte-Carlo Ballet and an antiques dealer. He transformed it into a hotel which he called ‘L’Aïoli’. It welcomed Orson Wells, Tyrone Power, Greta Garbo, Rita Hayworth, Prince Ali Khan and Louis de Funes, etc. ‘L’Aïoli’ became the ‘Yaca’ in 1968. In 1980, it was bought by Jacques Huret, who died in 1995. Since then, it has been managed by its new proprietors, François and Laetitia Huret.  In June 2003, the hotel expanded into another large house, called ‘Hôtel Y’ (previously known as the ‘Hôtel de la Citadelle’) and was completely renovated. This is located just 50 metres from the Yaca on ‘Avenue Paul Signac’.
This intimate 5-star hotel located at the foot of the Citadel and just a stone's throw from the harbour is centred around four 18th century houses. The establishment is renowned both for the quality of its welcome and its sophisticated surroundings. The comfortable rooms and suites, equipped with a balcony or terrace, are arranged in the two wings of the building. Decorated in a traditional style, and as romantic as you could wish for, they are all equally charming and have a bathroom with a shower or bath and all modern facilities. Some look out over the interior garden and pool, whilst others have a view of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez or of the old town.
