The start of the monumental staircase, lined with flower-filled lookouts (a historic monument) gives access to the Patec, the wheat treading area, and then to the Canadel Pass.
Either by the stairs and the path rehabilitated in 2013 (blue markings to the Canadel Pass),
either by the Cannes cornice, avenue Pastouré then Corniche du Parin up to the star (yellow ground markings up to the Col de l'Etoile) then take the forest road on the left (blue markings of the flag at the Col du...The start of the monumental staircase, lined with flower-filled lookouts (a historic monument) gives access to the Patec, the wheat treading area, and then to the Canadel Pass.

At the Col du Canadel, orientation table, take the direction of the piste des crêtes, for about 500m, then, on the left, take La Louve (orange round markings).
Cross the Corniches des Pins, des Arbouses and de la Louve.
Cross the RD 559 and take "Chemin de l'Ecuelle", at the bottom left, take the Voie Verte to Rayol (green round markings on the green lane).
When you see the hotel Les Terrasses turn left, go up the stairs and return to the Tourist Office.
Every year from 21 June to 20 September, the Var prefecture regulates access, traffic and parking on certain roads serving the Var forest massifs. This system informs walkers about the possibilities of access to the forest areas and the level of danger of forest fires. Connect to the var.gouv.fr website.
