Historic site and monument, Historic patrimony, Historic district in Mougins

  • Last vestige of the fortifications built in the 12th century. This name is explained by the architectural type of closure of the post office "a Sarrasine" which means "with a harrow", it was closed with wooden planks.

  • We can still make out the hinges.
Originally there were 3 entrance gates to the village, today it is the only one of the three still in existence.
