Gardens have always been a source of inspiration for the greatest names in literature, sculpture, painting, cinema and photography. The relationship between an artist and their garden can takes many different forms. Certain artists, as much in love with their plants as with their work, are passionate gardeners. Combining gardening and art, they transpose plants into their work and imbue their gardens with their creative energy. Fascinated by nature, they sometimes become skilled landscape gardeners recreating the landscape in their own image.
