"EXPOROSE 2023 DECLARES ITS LOVE" IN GRASSE

The most emblematic event in Grasse, Exporose is returning in 2023 for a unique edition: declaring its love!

For this jubilee, the town is transformed into an outdoor cinema and invites you to rediscover the great classics.

From 18 to 21 May 2023, the heart of the town is celebrating.

THE ROSE IN PRIDE OF PLACE FOR A WEEKEND

Make the most of a relaxing weekend to explore the perfumed streets of Grasse and try the products from the gourmet market.

Grasse is putting the spotlight on creators and rose producers. The town becomes a garden, and the queen of flowers is on show: 8,500 roses in bouquets, 130,000 rose bushes for sale and 25,000 cut roses will enhance the fountains and small squares.

Let’s celebrate 50 years of history by revisiting the great classics of cinema and perfume. In the streets, on the squares, by way of a stroll or at a show, actors, dancers, musicians and costume designers will have us relive famous scenes from the movies, integrating the rose, the uncontested star of this exceptional jubilee, as the main heroine.

A ROSE-TINTED TOWN

While the most beautiful floral compositions are invited into the lounges at the Villa Fragonard, a stroll “under the spotlights” starting from Cours Honoré Cresp leads you into the Villa Fragonard gardens and will bring back to life famous scenes from the movies.

During this jubilee, Grass is rolling out its rose-red carpet.

You will enjoy strolling between the stalls at the gourmet market, choosing a rose bush from the flower market, visiting the International Perfume Museum or following the flow from square to square to dance to the rhythm of the great classics.

Directed by Éric Monvoisin, the artistic director, assisted by Émilie Tampigny, dancer and choreographer, and in collaboration with the artistes from the Cie 100°C Théâtre, the dancers from the Danse District Cydrille Girard, the Salsalibertad, the singers and musicians from Shiny Gospel, the DO Ré Minettes, the Saramba group, the Velvet Rose Band, and Travel In Gospel reveal their talent to immortalise this 51st edition as it should be.

THE PINK UMBRELLAS RETURN TO GRASSE

For the fourth consecutive year, 2,800 pink umbrellas have been suspended in some of the perfume town’s narrow streets, and also in the gardens of Villa Fragonard, before the festive meeting in homage to the rose.
