FÊTE DU CITRON® [LEMON FESTIVAL] 2021: A ZEST OF CITRUS THROUGHOUT THE TOWN
The Fête du Citron® has been cancelled for 2021 due to the current health situation
The traditional lemon festival has been cancelled for 2021, but as of Saturday 20 February, citrus arrangements will await you in the Biovès gardens, as will numerous activities throughout the town, not to mention an open-air exhibition on the rich history of Menton lemons, offered by the Heritage department.
What’s more, local producers will be present across the town: the chance to visit their stands, stock up on vitamins and discuss their passion for the golden fruit. You can continue your stroll through the shopping streets – where the Menton Sourire association will organize a shop window competition – up to the Esplanade Francis-Palmero where you will find all the specialities from Menton: jams, olive oil, ceramics, etc.
On Sundays 21 and 28 February, and 7 March, the traders’ market will be held with several stands in the Élisée-Reclus garden and along the Promenade du Soleil. The seafront will therefore be pedestrianized.
